When our son was accepted into the Royal Ballet School, we thought the hard part was over. We were wrong. The audition was just the beginning — what followed was a journey that tested our family in ways we never expected.

As parents of a male dancer in a world where boys in ballet still raise eyebrows, we learned fast that talent alone isn't enough. The mental game, the family dynamics, the sacrifice — these are the things nobody prepares you for.

At the same time, through our work as teachers and coaches, we were hearing the same stories from hundreds of dance parents: the confusion, the isolation, the constant worry about whether they were doing enough — or too much.

That’s why we created our podcast, our book, and the community designed to give dance parents the guidance, clarity, and support we wished we’d had from day one. Our mission is to help parents feel confident, informed, and empowered every step of the way. Dream it, Do it, Give it.
